You will receive two 2008 Alaska State Quarters in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, one each from the Denver and Philadelphia Mints. The theme of the Alaska State Quarter is "The Great Land." Alaska was admitted into the Union on January 3rd of 1959. The reverse side of the Alaska State Quarter features a grizzly bear emerging from the waters clutching a salmon in its jaw. The reverse side of the Alaska State Quarter was designed by Charles Vickers.  All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These Alaska BU State Quarters come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls. All of our BU State Quarters have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems.  This 2008-D Alaska BU State Quarter Coin is worth the price for any collector or numismatist who wishes to fill a space in their collection.
