The theme of the Alabama State Quarter is "Spirit of Courage." Alabama was admitted into the Union on December 14th of 1819. The reverse side of the Alabama State Quarter features an image of Helen Keller with her name in English and in a reduced-size version of Braille, an Alabama long leaf pine branch wtih magnolias gracing the sides of the design, and the Spirit of Courage banner underlining the image. The reverse side of the Alabama State Quarter was designed by Norman E. Nemeth. All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These Alabama BU State Quarters come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls. All of our BU State Quarters have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems.
