We are pleased to offer for sale this Star Trek 2015 Captain Kirk Tuvalu Silver Proof Coin Collector's Set from the Perth Mint. 

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver, this coin was issued as $1 legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint released only 6,500 of these 1oz Silver Proof Coins.

 DESIGN

The Captain Kirk coin’s reverse portrays a color image of William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk as he appeared in the original Star Trek television series, against a representation of the U.S.S. Enterprise and the inscription CAPTAIN JAMES T. KIRK.  The design also includes the Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark, and the coin’s weight and fineness.

The coin is presented in a Star Trek inspired case that lights up and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
