We are pleased to offer for sale this 2014-W National Baseball Hall of Fame Nolan Ryan Commemorative Gold Proof $5 Coin graded and encapsulated as PF-70 ULTRA CAMEO Early Releases by NGC.  This is a Nolan Ryan Edition, featuring an authorized facsimile of Ryan's signature. These 2014 Baseball Hall of Fame Commemorative $5 Gold Coins were minted at the West Point (W) Mint.  The obverse of the coin features a baseball glove, that along with the design of a baseball on the reverse, epitomizes the most basic elements of America's national pastime.  The National Baseball Hall of Fame Coins have a shape such that the obverse is concave and the reverse is convex.  This Hall of Fame Coin is the first curved coin produced by the United States Mint.  The obverse was designed by Cassie McFarlend and sculpted by Don Everhart. The reverse was designed and sculpted by Don Everhart.

This modern commemorative gold $5 coin is comprised of .900 (90%) gold  and .100 (10%) alloy with a diameter of 21.59mm and a weight of 8.359 grams with a reeded edge.
