We are pleased to offer for sale this 1976-S Washington Bicentennial PROOF Silver Quarter in PCGS Gem Proof Signed by Designer Jack L. Ahr graded and encapsulated as Gem PROOF by PCGS. There were approximately 4,000,000 of the 1976-S Proof Bicentennial Silver Quaretrs minted at the San Francisco (S) Mint.

The Washington Quarter series has run from 1932 to Date. This variety of Washington Quarter (1976 Silver Clad) weighs 5.75 grams and is comprised of .800 silver and .200 copper bonded to an inner core of .209 silver, .791 copper. This is a 40% silver quarter. These Washington Quarters have a diameter of 24.3mm with a reeded edge. This Washington Quarter  is of great worth and value to the collector who needs to fill a hole in their Washington Quarter set. Some of our slabbed quarters may have toning.
