Francisco (S) Mint.
In honor of United States Bicentennial, a new reverse
was designed for the 1976 dollar, an image of the Liberty Bell
superimposed on the moon, the work of Dennis Williams.
The Eisenhower
Dollar
series ran
from 1971 through 1978.Clad
Eisenhower
Dollars weigh 22.68 grams and are
comprised of an outer layer of .750 copper and .250 nickel bonded to an
inner core of pure copper.
