History: This Art of Disney: Friendship stamp sheet features four famous animated Disney friendships. The first group, as well as the most recognizable, is Mickey Mouse and his friends Donald and Goofy. Since 1934, when Donald Duck was created, the trio have shared in countless adventures. After meeting in the forest, Bambi and Thumper became lifelong friends. Complete opposites, Bambi is the shy "young prince of the forest," while Thumper is the loud, outgoing rabbit who constantly has something entertaining to say. In the movie The Lion King, young Simba idolizes his father, Mufasa. The two are inseparable until Mufasa's unfortunate demise. During Pinocchio's quest to be a real boy, he is accompanied by the wise Jiminy Cricket who serves as Pinocchio's conscience and friend.
