The sculpture is 60 feet high and features the heads of four U.S. Presidents. The Presidents featured are George Washington (1732 - 1799), Thomas Jefferson (1743 - 1826), Theodore Roosevelt (1858 - 1919) and Abraham Lincoln (1809 - 1865). The Mount Rushmore memorial covers 1,278 acres and is 5,725 feet above sea level. Mount Rushmore has appeared and been discussed in numerous works of film and literature and attracts nearly 3 million tourists every year.
