• History:  This stamp was issued to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the first United States Moon landing on July 20, 1969.  The stamp shows an astronaut (Neil Armstrong), holding the American Flag and saluting with the Earth in the background. The mission was Apollo 11 and the location was the Sea of Tranquility.  The sheet also includes Neil Armstrong's historic statement "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.".
