We are pleased to offer for sale this 1976-S Eisenhower BICENTENNIAL Clad PROOF Dollar TYPE 2 coin graded and encapsulated in a 40th Anniversary labeled holder as PR-69 DCAM (Deep Cameo) by PCGS.  This is a Variety 2, the word STATES on the reverse has a sharp design with delicate lettering.  This special  PCGS slab celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the Eisenhower coin series which ran from 1971-1978. The label features a picture of Dwight D. Eisenhower and his autograph. There were only 4,149,730 of this 1976 Eisenhower Clad Proof Dollar Type 2  minted at the San Francisco (S) Mint.  Also, In honor of United States Bicentennial, a new reverse was designed for the 1976 dollar, an image of the Liberty Bell superimposed on the moon, the work of Dennis Williams.
