We are pleased to offer for sale this 2012-S American Silver Eagle REVERSE PROOF only released as part of the 2012 US Mint San Francisco 2-Coin Proof Set.  Only around 150,000 of these sets were minted by the US Mint.  This 2012-S American Silver Eagle REVERSE PROOF Coin was minted at the San Francisco Mint and comes in the original capsule as issued by the mint.  The Reverse Proof features a unique finish which results in a frosted background and a brilliant, mirror-like, finish on the raised elements of the coin, including the design and inscriptions.  Silver Eagles have a face value of $1 and contain one troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
