We are pleased to offer for sale this  2012 American Silver Eagle 2 Coin Proof Set from the San Francisco Mint. Only around 150,000 of these sets were minted by the US Mint. This set contains the 2012-S Proof American Silver Eagle Dollar and the 2012-S Reverse Proof American Silver Eagle Dollar. The Reverse Proof features a unique finish which results in a frosted background and a brilliant, mirror-like, finish on the raised elements of the coin, including the design and inscriptions.  American Silver Eagle Proof Coins weigh 31.101 grams and are comprised of .9993 silver and .0007 copper. These 1oz pure silver American Eagle Dollars have a diameter of 40.6mm. The coins are encased in capsules by the U.S. Mint and come in a deluxe velvet lined box with an outer cardboard box and the Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
