We are pleased to offer for sale this 1997-W Jackie Robinson PROOF $5 Gold Commemorative Coin.  There were only 24,072 of this 1997-W Jackie Robinson Proof Gold Coin minted at the West Point (W) Mint. The obverse was designed by T. James Ferrel and depicts Robinson in his older years.  The reverse was designed by James Peed and features a baseball with the words "Legacy of Courage" and the dates of his birth and death "1919-1972".  The coin is comprised of 90% gold (.242 ounces of gold), with a diameter of 21.6mm and a weight of  8.3590 grams.  The coin comes in the original US Mint packaging with COA.  Don't miss your chance to own this historic commemorative coin at this low price!
