There were only 58,000 of the 2006-P Benjamin Franklin Founding Father Commemorative Silver Dollars minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint.  This 2006 Benjamin Franklin Founding Father Tercentenary Silver Dollar commemorates the 300th Anniversary of Franklin's birth (1706-2006) and is of great worth and value to the commemorative coin collector. The obverse of the 2006 Founding Father Dollar is a familiar image of Benjamin Franklin designed by Don Everhart. The reverse features the design of the 1776 Continental Currency Dollar which was originally created by Franklin.  This Commemorative Silver Dollar is comprised of .900 Silver (90% Silver) and .100 Copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams.
