We are pleased to offer for sale this 1936-D California Pacific International Exposition Commemorative Silver Half Dollar graded and encapsulated as MS-64 by PCGS.  This 1936-D California Pacific International Exposition Commemorative Silver Half Dollar was struck as a souvenir coin for the exposition.  There were only 30,092 of the 1936-D California Pacific International Exposition Commemorative Silver Half Dollars minted at the Denver (D) Mint.  This California Pacific International Exposition Souvenir Coin was designed by Robert Aiken.  The California Commemorative Silver Half Dollar features a seated female with a spear and a bear on the obverse and the observation tower and State of California building at the exposition in San Diego on the reverse. The California Pacific International Exposition Coin is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.
