You will receive two of the 2008 New Mexico State Quarters in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, one from both the Denver and Philadelphia Mints.  The theme of the New Mexico State Quarter is "Land of Enchantment." New Mexico was admitted into the Union on January 6th of 1912. The reverse side of the New Mexico State Quarter features a Zia sun symbol over a topographical outline of the State. The reverse side of the New Mexico State Quarter was designed by Don Everhart.  All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These New Mexico BU State Quarters come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls. All of our BU State Quarters have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems.  This 2008 P&D New Mexico BU State Quarters are worth the price for any collector or numismatist who wishes to fill a space in their collection. There were 244,200,000 of the 2008-P New Mexico BU State Quarter Coins minted at the Philadelphia Mint, and 244,400,000 of the 2008-D New Mexico State Quarters minted at the Denver Mint.
