We are pleased to offer for sale this 2004 P&D Texas BU State Quarters. You will receive two 2004 Texas State Quarters in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, one from each the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. The theme of the Texas State Quarter is "Lone Star State." Texas was admitted into the Union on December 29th of 1845. The reverse side of the Texas State Quarter highlights an outline of the State with a star superimposed on the outline and the inscription, The Lone Star State. The lariat that encircles the design is symbolic of the cattle and cowboy history of Texas as well as the frontier spirit that tamed the land. The reverse side of the Texas State Quarter was designed by Norman E. Nemeth.  All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These Texas BU State Quarters come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls. All of our BU State Quarters have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems. These 2004 P&D Texas BU State Quarters are worth the price for any collector or numismatist who wishes to fill a space in their collection. There were 263,000,000 of the 2004-D Texas BU State Quarter Coins minted at the Denver Mint, and 278,800,000 of the 2004-P Texas State Quarters minted at the Philadelphia Mint.
