We are pleased to offer for sale these 2003 P&D Maine BU State Quarters. You will receive two 2003 Maine State Quarters in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, one each from the Denver and Philadelphia Mints.  The theme of the Maine State Quarter is "Pemaquid Point Light." Maine was admitted into the Union on March 15th of 1820. The reverse side of the Maine State Quarter features the incorporated rendition of the Pemaquid Point Light atop a granite coast and a schooner at sea. The reverse side of the Maine State Quarter was designed by Donna Weaver.  All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These Maine BU State Quarters come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls. All of our BU State Quarters have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems.  These 2003 P&D Maine BU State Quarters are worth the price for any collector or numismatist who wishes to fill a space in their collection. There were 231,400,000 of the 2003-D Maine BU State Quarter Coins minted at the Denver Mint, and 217,400,000 of the 2003-P Maine State Quarters minted at the Philadelphia Mint.
