We are pleased to offer for sale these 2001 P&D New York BU State Quarters.  You will receive two 2001 New York State Quarters in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, one each from the Denver and Philadelphia Mints.  The theme of the New York State Quarter is "Gateway to Freedom." New York was admitted into the Union on July 26th of 1788. The reverse side of the New York State Quarter features an image of the Statue of Liberty, the state outline, and 11 stars that represents its position when admitted into the Union. The reverse side of the New York State Quarter was designed by Alfred Maletsky.  All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These New York BU State Quarters come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls. All of our BU State Quarters have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems.
