We are pleased to offer for sale this 2006-P Benjamin Franklin Scientist Tercentenary Commemorative PROOF Dollar graded and encapsulated as PF-69 Ultra Cameo (UCAM) by NGC. There were only 142,000 of this Benjamin Franklin Silver Dollar minted at the Philadelphia (P) Mint.  This 2006 Benjamin Franklin Scientist Tercentenary Silver Dollar commemorates the 300th Anniversary of Franklin's birth (1706-2006). The obverse of the 2006 Scientist Dollar is an image of Benjamin Franklin flying a kite in an electric storm by artist Norman E. Nemeth.  The reverse of the 2006 Benjamin Franklin Scientist Silver Dollar features a frosted cameo image of his famous 'JOIN, or DIE' political cartoon by artist Charles L. Vickers.

This modern commemorative silver dollar is comprised of .900 (90%) silver and .100 (10%) copper with a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams with a reeded edge.
