The reverse side of the North Dakota State Quarter highlights a pair of grazing American bison in the foreground, a sunset view of the rugged buttes and canyons that symbolize the State's Badlands region. The reverse side of the North Dakota State Quarter was designed by Stephen Clark. This 2006-P North Dakota BU State Quarter is from the Philadelphia (P) Mint. All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm.
