We are pleased to offer for sale this Complete 28 Year Set of American Eagle Silver Dollars including all Proof, Gem Brilliant Uncirculated (Gem BU), and Burnished issues from 1986-2013 (to date) in a Dansco Silver Eagles with Proof 1986-2006 Album #8181 and a Dansco Silver Eagle with Proof 2007-Date Album #8182, each with a Dansco Archival Sleeve Slipcase.
The American Eagle Silver Dollars included are all in Proof, Gem BU (Gem Brilliant Uncirculated) or Burnished BU condition. These Silver Eagle coins contain one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The Silver Eagle Proof coins have gone through a proof method of manufacturing which produces a coin with sharp details, high edges and mirror like surfaces. The Silver Eagle BU coins have nice eye appeal and are taken from original U.S. Mint BU rolls. The Burnished BU Silver Eagles are minted in limited quantities by the U.S. Mint at West Point from a special burnished blank which gives the coin a sandy or polished appearance. Note that no Proof or Burnished BU Silver Eagles will be produced for 2009 and no Burnished BU for 2010.

Information on the American Eagle Silver Dollar: Alexander A.Weinman's obverse design was reintroduced on these silver bullion coins. This is considered to be one of the nation's most beautiful coin designs. It first appeared on the Liberty Walking Half Dollar circulated from 1916-1947. A woman walking towards a sunrise depicts Weinman's representation of Liberty.On the reverse is an edition of the heraldic eagle by Mint Designer John Mercant.
The coin weighs 31.101 grams. The composition of the coin is 99.93% silver, .07% copper and a net weight of one ounce of fine silver. The coin has a diameter of 40.6 mm and a reeded edge. The Mints include Philadelphia, San Francisco and West Point.

The Dansco Album #8182 for American Eagle Silver Dollars 2007-Date includes 3 pages and holds all of the American Silver Eagles from 2007 to Date on the first page with two additional unlabeled pages for additional years.
