The reverse side of the South Dakota State Quarter features an image of the State bird, the Chinese ring-necked pheasant in flight above the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, a sculpture of four American Presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. The reverse side of the South Dakota State Quarter was designed by Michael Leidel. This 2006-S South Dakota State Quarter Proof is from the San Francisco (S) Mint.
