Coin Flips & More
Coin Flips offer economical protection for coins. Coin Flips provide protection from the wear and tear of handling and from oils and other substances coming into contact with a coin's surface. Coin Flips are not air-tight and will not protect the coin from the elements, rust, corrosion, or tarnishing. Coin Flips are primarily designed for storage purposes rather than for presentation.
Coin Flips are manufactured using either Vinyl or archival grade materials, commonly refered to as Safety Flips. Vinyl coin flips protect your coins for short-term storage. In time, the vinyl can rub off on your coin. Safety coin flips are slightly more expensive but are crafted from non-plasticized, inert materials and contain no PVC or other harmful chemicals, making them better for long-term storage.
Coin Flips can hold almost any coin type and are compatible with many coin boxes and coin albums. Some coin albums and coin boxes are specifically designed to add additional protection to your coins while they are stored in coin flips.
Standard Coin Flips come in 2x2", 1.5x1.5", 2.5x2.5" dimensions.
Poly Bags, Paper Envelopes and Coin Travel Albums are other economical means of protecting your coin collection. Poly bags come in packs of 100 and protect from the wear and tear of handling coins and from oils and other substances coming into contact with the surface of coins. Poly bags are not air-tight and will not protect coins from the elements, rust, corrosion, or tarnishing. Paper Envelopes come in packs of 500 and provide short-term storage to keep your coins clean and dust free. Paper Envelopes do not prevent wear from handling or prevent rust, corrosion or tarnishing.
